The Golden Temple

There is a temple in the Old Town portion of Kyoto that is wrapped in Gold Leaf, and set on a small pond. It’s a lovely grounds, there is an entrance and a path that winds through, and you get to walk around and get a few different perspectives of the temple, then on through a nature park. The whole thing takes about an hour at normal pace.

This was our second trip to the temple, and it was definitely more crowded this time around. Afterwards, we walked down the hill on the main road, and stopped for a wonerful bowl of ramen, as you do.
