Ok, this is going to be a little bit of a cheat, but we stopped in Dallas for two nights with my parents before heading to Atlanta.

Saturday June 27th (con’t)

We arrived in DFW Airport on flight AA2625 from Monterrey. My parents collected us from the Airport, headed back to their house, and got our bags settled. However, we knew that Argentina was playing in their final Group Stage match against Jordan, and my partner and I were both keen to watch it. My mom agreed to take us out to watch the match (it was 9 PM local and my parents are both ‘early to bed’ type of people. I called a couple of local bars, but they were having Sat night cover bands, and while the match would be on, there would be loud bands playing – their focus wasn’t on the Football. We remembered there was a restaurant called ‘The Londoner’ down the highway from my parents place, and they had put a heavy emphasis on showing every single World Cup match – with Commentary. We made it about 15 minutes in, had a light meal and a few drinks and watched the match. Again, go review the Argentina v Panama Match Report, but I think you can predict the outcome.

Sunday June 28th
